XM Ashtray install?

I have this unit installed in my Jag S-TYPE (inside ashtray - can close lid) - anten is mounted under windshield - wire coming out of defroster vent. Very slick. Will this unit work on a similar install in my ordered E91 wagon?

Dimensions (display unit): 4.5" W x 1.75" H x 0.83" D (115mm x 45mm x 21mm) - this what needs to fit in the a-tray

Dimensions (hideaway tuner unit): 3.75" L x 4.3" W x 1.25" D (95mm x 109mm x 32mm)

I was able to mount a similar type of unit in the ashtray (6-1/16"W x 1-3/4"H x 3/4"D ) and the hideaway tuner unit fit in the compartment under the steering wheel. I had to change out the ashtray with the sunglass holder to get it to work. You can see pics of the display in the music keg thread that I created.

I also have an XM MYFi on a Kuda mount and I ran the antenna to the back window and I am holding it in place with some double sided tape.
