Dinan Stage 3 ECU Flash RELEASED!
Stage 3: 373hp and 408 ft lb.
Must have an upgraded intercooler and oil cooler. Dinan also released those as well today for N55. www.dinancars.com Price is $2499. (Stage 2 is $1999). All you pay is the difference if you already have stage 2.

I have to go head to head vs someone with stage 2 or 3 to see the difference. I raced a n54 stage 2 Dinan and we were head to head from a roll since I am x drive. So far jb4 has been on 5000 miles with no worries...

Oddly, the Stage 3 doesn't show under the E93 N55 convertible, just the E92 coupe. Shit BETTER work with the vert too- I mean it's the same engine!

Of course, you do get a factory matching warranty, and, of course, you can actually purchase those items at well below the MSRP.

And if drivetrain losses are 15%, you're looking at 318hp and 347 torque.

Not to mention Dinan follows a similar path of offering rather conservative hp/tq estimates.

Prestige BMW in Ramsey NJ. Stage 2 was 2k plus a few more bucks. Don't have the invoice in hand right now. Power delivery is smooth and predictable, factory warranty stays intact, and well, hell, it's Dinan

Different strokes for different folks... I am bored of my car, I want the 2014 m3 but I have to wait. I was thinking about the c63amg, then maybe GTR and then I am tied of wasting my effing money on a machine. I want to retire in 10 years and I am only 39 lol.

Stage 3?
Quote:
What I would like to know is whether the Stage 3 ponies are similar to the Stage 2 ponies and can hardly been seen with a chassis dyno? Talk about the emporer's new clothes! At almost $5700, the price is very high for each pony that is reaching the road. |

It's Dinan, it's not cheap. You pay for that warranty, and pay handsomely, but for me, it's worth the peace of mind, and I am very satisfied with the results. |
