dammit! I knew it!
I got lazy in searching.

How much cheaper? I think I have time to cancel my order.
Keep in mind the DSST versions are like $40-50 per tire more expensive.

i spent 1500 for bridgestone blizzak ws60 with 17" m3 reps. (225 45 17). if i got jacked, please dont tell me. i'd rather not know..lol

i think people will only post here if they got a really good deal. all the normal folk will sit quietly and suffer in silence.

steelcase is crazy busy when it comes time to get your tires put on!!

Tirerack has a number of 17 and 18 inch wheel choices for roughly $100/wheel. The cheapest good winter tire is Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25 or Blizzak WS-60 at $150/tire. So, about $1000 U.S. plus $100-200 for shipping, import duties, etc.

screw steelcase, wouldn't trust them mounting or touching any of my wheels again. they rush every job and don't put any care into what they're doing.

Agreed when they are busy they won't even have time to talk to you.. I buy from them and have my local shop mount into my car for me.

+1...They scratched my 189's and blamed it on the fact that the RFT sidewalls are too stiff for their machines. However I did get a good deal on my Toyo's

I got them at a goodyear tire sale. the guy told me this price is dealer cost - I didn't believe him because Tire rack sells for $187 US, but the shipping, brokerage + exchange makes it about the same.

They got tire (parking lot) sales everywhere. next one is
Oct 19-24
Xtreme Tire Garage Inc.
1044 Rangeview Road, Mississauga 905-274-8000

There's one in Scarborough too:
Oct 22-25
MARS Tire Ajincourt (Bridlewood mall)
416-292-6113

If they don't have the tires there, just ask them and they will order but still give you the sale price.

Agreed on the Starbucks - I never go to Timmies.

$243 a piece for Hakkapeliitta Rs....225/45-17. A friend and I bought two sets of Hakkas at the same time and they gave us an additional 10% of the current sale prices.

-10C and blowing snow in Calgary already last night, so I'm glad to have 'real' snow tires on.
