Post VMR Wheels - V718 Signature Mesh ** NEW DESIGN **

VMR Wheels V718 Signature Mesh

Even though we are coming to the end of the year, we have been keeping busy with development on next year's wheel models. I am proud to present the second new wheel design for 2010, the VMR Wheels V718 Signature Mesh.

This design is inspired by the classic multi-spoke mesh style popular to the BMW community. We then sharpened the edges to give it the modular look, and finally, finished the design with the front & rear concavity known to VMR Wheels. The weight of the VMR Wheels V718 is similar to other designs in the VMR Wheels product line. As with all VMR Wheels, a typical wheel & tire package is comparable in weight to most factory wheel & tires.

VMR V718 Modular Mesh Key Features:
  • Big Brake Friendly
  • Powder Coated Clear Coat
  • Aggressive Concave Design
  • Offered in Hyper Silver, Gun Metal, and Matte Black for all popular BMW 19" fitments
  • Certifications include JWL, VIA & ISO-9001:2000
  • VMR's unmatched Customer Service and 1 year warranty

Initial Sizes / Fitments:
  • 19x8.5 ET20
  • 19x8.5 ET35
  • 19x8.5 ET45
  • 19x9.5 ET22
  • 19x9.5 ET33
  • 19x9.5 ET45
Later Sizes / Fitments:
  • 18x8.5 ET20
  • 18x8.5 ET35
  • 18x8.5 ET45
  • 18x9.5 ET22
  • 18x9.5 ET33
  • 18x9.5 ET45
While the above fitments are compatible with the 1-series, they are considered to be aggressive meaning fender rolling/modifications may be needed. We will be releasing a slightly more conservative fitment for those customers who prefer the the "plug and play" fitment.

Production of the VMR Wheels V718 will start in December, with the first shipment arriving to us late January 2010. Initial colors will include Hyper Silver with powdercoated clear, gunmetal, and matte black. As always, custom powdercoats will be available.

Of course, a new wheel release isn't a new wheel release without a proper photoshoot!! Here are production prototypes mounted on our very own Montego Blue E92. In the coming weeks, we will have photoshoots with various E90's and E92's. We welcome any local customers to drop by. We can mount these on your car for a photo shoot

Special credit goes to John Zhang (Bimmerpost member jzhang) for doing this fantastic photoshoot for us:

i agree, the only difference seems to be the periphery of the wheel. The lip has an additional indent between the spokes which in my opinion give it more depth perception and a nicer appearance.
Very subtle but I guess why fix something that is already soooo beautiful.

Take a look at the V701, V710, V713, V718 back to back. Our goal is to provide a wide variety of choices within market. This isn't really an "update" to the VB3's as much as a new face design to complete our product offering within the concavity market segment. There are very subtle differences and part of the fun is to be able to identify them

I love how the spokes don't bulge out as much as the V710's..

Definitely better than the V710's IMO. My only criticism is the inner lip is too high making the wheel look smaller in diameter than it really is.

you guys should definitely start looking into making all your wheels have a 19x10 option. instead of only the vb3's
if these wheels came in a 10in. wide option id probably buy them even though i just got wheels

What is the weight goal with these wheels? Similar to the V701s?
