FS: 2007 Bmw 335i Rear w/wavetrac
As the title says, I have a 2007 BMW 335 going back to stock and have the rear for sale. The rear has wavetrac LSD installed that will come with it. The rear has about 55k on it and the LSD no more than 500 miles. I am willing to have the cost for the labor of having each of the rears swapped at my shop, Maximum PSI. Shop is located at Linden, NJ. Price: 1000. Will have other parts listed at a later time as they get unistalled. Car is an Automatic Last edited by ricehero; 12-13-2011 at 01:30 PM.. |

Explaining what you mean by "rear" would help. Assume lsd won't fit 328i, if it does I'm interested but you'll need to ship; may sound overwhelming but it's been done before...

This is actually a very good deal. The question more is if it's 6MT or 6AT or if it matters? Good luck with the sale. if it hasn't sold by new years, OP send me a PM.

But you can use it in an AT or MT, because that is what I am running, I have a 335is 6MT and I run the wavetrac AT rear diff.
So if you want to install it in AT or MT it will work.

So you're saying that for $1000 you will pay for your shop to swap the diffs between you and the buyer's car? That is an amazing deal.
If I was closer I would be all over this. |

I know some cars have bolted vs. welded diff, plus I'm unclear on manual vs. auto compatibility, on top of (in my case) 335i vs. 328i. If you're the orig buyer you should enlist wavetrac's help for compatibility list, this will help the sale.
Also, you do mean the whole pumpkin then or ?

I live in northern NJ and am interested. Just want to make sure it's compatible with 6mt. And could you let me know what exact parts would be swapped? What do you mean 'rear'... Just the pumpkin? How many miles on your car?

Just the Pumpkin will be swapped. Car has about 55K miles. According to the wavetrac the LSD is compatible with both MT and AT cars. I am not 100% sure but, I am assuming I have the 30.309.170WK due to the fact that I got it when it was just released.
