Anyone replace N54 turbo under wastegate warrenty in Houston?

Hi everyone, I am wondering if anyone replace their N54 turbo under the (82,000 miles, 8 years) wastegate warrenty in Houston? My wastegate does make loud noise, but don't know if they will just make any excuse to not doing it. (I heard someone said they won't do it if the car VIN not on the list, no 30ff code, etc or they just do a flash of code and not replace the turbo). Anyway, would like to hear if anyone change it and what is the process? It would be great if your can share with me about which BMW dealership is more friendly on this topic since I am kind of new in Houston. Thank you very much.

I had this done last month at BMW Houston North. New turbos and no hassle or indepth explanation was needed. The service advisor started the vehicle, reved it a few times and the rest is history.

Hey guys, thank you for the info. I have one more question, is your car modded or did you took out all the modded parts before you go to the dealership (I have dp, dci, jb4)? Also, I am near in both dealership. By any chance you remember which advisor you talked to? If your don't mind can you pm me his/her name? Thanks again for your help.

Remove all mods, no point in missing this opportunity because of downpipes.

That is the timeframe/mileage of the warranty for the turbos? I did not know.

Yeah, BMW extended the turbo warrenty for wastegate problem. I saw the pdf on website. I think it extended to 8 year, 82000 miles. You can search on google. Anyway, thanks for guys who gave me suggestion above. I have not take my car in yet since I have to take my mod out first (downpipe, dci, jb4). Kind of busy recently at work, is there anyone at here can help taking out my parts and put the stock one back? I am willing to pay some money of course. Anyone in Houston? Thank you.
