Really? What's the advantage? The Alpina is still just a tiny 2.0l engine with bigger injectors/turbo etc.

Not were not speaking of the 2.0l but the one that came with the B3 for N54. It's not the same software but the same idea as to importing the Alpina software into the 335.

SUCCESS!!!

We coded the Alpina B3 tranny software to work on a 335! The TCU (tranny) can take much more torque since its calibrated for an engine with 400 hp crank and 500 nm torque. The shifts are more crisp and precise and the rev limiter is increase slighty. This software was programmed for the special edition Alpina B3! Now we all can enjoy its programming

Just a quick video of the shift from 3rd to 4th in M mode. Nice crisp shift at 6800 rpm...

great news!

on a different note, i've already tried this with my 320d, but i dont have a DPF so i get the dpf errors - does anyone know how to get it working on a 163ps 320d m47 without the dpf errors? i.e. disable dpf?

thanks.

Look through this thread on anything to do with DPF and try to code it out of your VO.

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=717103

Thats where i would start from...Look through the list carefully and see what items match DPF and see if you have it in your VO...IF so code it out

The flash might have added VO for paddles when u flashed it. Might be worth it to look into. Before flash u had no errors , after flash you do. So I would think the flash added it onto VO
