Hi guys,

I'd like to know what's the best way to further cool the intake air by adding some cover to this aFe stage 2 intake system. I'm thinking maybe add a cover? so that the heat from the engine won't reach the cones. I'm thinking about using either heat insulating materials or carbon fiber to make a cover for the cones. Any suggestions?

This is what aFe intake looks like. This is a picture from the internet, my car has exactly the same intake kit.

AFE makes a cold air intake box. It's about $450.00.
