Ok I got my car a year and half ago I got it with 10700 miles at 11000 I got my HPFP replaced. now its has 18100 miles and I just got it replaced again. Has anybody got there HPFP replaced more then once? Because this is crazy if I knew I was going to have n54 problems I would have got one.

Shit happens, sadly. With German cars it happens a lot more than others.

At this point, you're better of letting it happen one more time and have it lemoned! Get most of your money back and dump it into a new one

Let me tell you guys the story. Last week my car is having a hard time cranking for the first start in the morning only in the cold. I took the car in for service and BMW told me it was the fuel pump so they changed it. And now the long crank start is back again. Keep in mind its 12 degrees out. So now I don't think it's the fuel pump anymore. It's going back to service Tuesday so ill see what they are going to say. I think it might be the battery.

24,000mi. Rare long start. Had
surging in the summer, but that
is gone now. I have PPK 1.
Last service 8/12 and SA said
no codes found.

Next service next Monday.

I've had a few long starts this winter, but that is all. Had it since April 2012 and have about 8k miles on it. No previous work was needed. I see no codes other than normal tuner codes. Stock except for chargepipe and JB4 on map 5(not ISO yet, too cold to change).

My 2011 335i HPFP failed too after 30K. Long crank problem. Dealer replaced my original 13-51-7-613-933 HPFP with 3-51-7-616-446. It is supposed to be the 4th revision. Not sure how it differs from the other 446's. Gas mileage and drivability are improved. Keeping my fingers crossed.
