Can somebody who has subj tell me how does "search function" work on 2 lines display?

thnx a lot.

I believe that I will be trying this out shortly... I'm excited that it takes WDRM v10 type audio.

I'm hoping this will work with my Zune... but I think that uses v11 WDRM.

I'm going to call about pricing today.

Not worth it...

I believe it was around $500 USD, certainly not worth it in my opinion. I've contacted Dension regarding an IceLink Plus ($50) for e90/92/93 but never heard back.

But it takes every form of media imaginable. Including DRM media. It will even take a USB hard disk. It does seem expensive but its plug and play (assuming you already have the cd changer unlocked) and is compatible with plays for sure devices. I'll try it out and maybe even make a DIY for everyone here.

Hey guys, sorry to resurrect an old thread. How did the Gateway 500 workout for you?

The new one is the gateway 500 s

The new one is the gateway 500 s
which features built in A2DP music streaming.
You should have started a new thread as the old one
is ancient history.

Also try a search there are other threads which already include
some answers.

Is that the only difference between the 500 and the 500S? A2DP streaming doesn't display the song name on the radio right?

I tried searching but seems like people who have them all have iDrive.

I thing the display single lines on the non Nav.

I think the display single lines (or double as in the list button) on the non Nav.
pretty much the way the cd player does under the list button
at least I hope they do.
If you have Nav they do a lot more.

Do a search = gateway 500 or Dension a lot of threads pop up.

That's how the GROM MST3 works, which I currently have. It displays two lines when in LIST. I want to see if the Gateway 500 works the same way.

I've searched numerous times. Seems like everyone who got it has iDrive.
