Tyre Pressure Question
Hi All
I changed my crappy M-Sport 18's with RFT's to BBS CH's 9.5x19". After having them refurbed last week I put some Kumho 265x30 19's on. (had Yokohama before) At first I hated them, they felt like they were flat with tonnes of tyre wall flex so after speaking with a tyre place I upped the pressure to 40psi rear and 37psi front based on the sticker in the door jam. This has improved the frankly danerous oversteer and "disconnected" back end feeling but I was wondering if I should/could go higher. The sticker in the door jam refers to 255x30 19 so mine are 20mm wider. Does having wider tyres affect the required pressure? |
