FS: full-sized spare alternative! or - in defense of the humble...
style 282! group hug/family portrait! hi all: my '09 328i came with the 16x7 style 282, and now off the car, sitting in my garage. so: the possibilities are endless on this rather clean set: (how about some almost spotless weights?) 1. paperweight in the garage; (not good.) 2. great set of spares (for me or someone else); 3. perfect snow set; 4. replacement for those who do NOT like the harsher rides of the 17s or 18s. (yes - i once lucked out on a set of 18-inch bbs rk because the seller's wife could not stand it.) 5. a 'long trip' set for someone - if this set does not sell, that's what i'll be using it for. the tread wear on the 18s is 140, while the tread wear on the rft on the 16x7 is a whopping 300! besides that, we like vacationing in sf, and as beautiful as the city is, the roads are not particularly kind to low profile tires. the 55 series tires are not too dopey, provide great tire wear, improved comfort over long journeys, and definitely enough cushion for care-free driving in streets that would normally abuse wheels on lower-profiled tires. 6. and why not a FULL-SIZED SPARE? yes i understand the donut thing. but it's just an idea i want to throw out. as far as storage and space - well, lucky me, got a wagon. i'd get the wheel/tire cover, and flip the whole thing around, so i can use the interior recess of the wheel as additional storage. in that case, i'll sell 3 individually and keep one. pic on car: 205/55/16 bridgestone rfts on them. pics: (lots. at least your questions will be answered about the condition. if i were to grade the wheel condition, i'd give it a 9/10. there are of course little nicks and dings, many of them are pinpoint, and a few 1 to 1.5 inch hairline scratches.) #1. #1 nicks: when i have more time i'll specify where they are. disclosure: on tire #1, there is a nail. it will be fixed. #2: #2 nicks: #3: #3 dings: #4: #4 scratch: i'm in no hurry to sell them. would like to, but don't have to. as such, offers will be entertained, but if you lowball me, i will mothball you. price: set of four, wheels, tires and tpms: $1,200 + shipping individual: $300 + shipping fyi, here's my pricing rationale: three with 8/32nds, one with 6/32nds. you'll still get a lot of miles. and since it is not staggered, rotate every 5k miles. it's still a killer deal of either paying for the wheels and getting the tires free, or vice-versa. email me directly at kms1655@yahoo.com i'm in socal. thanks! ps: although much-maligned, have to say the design itself is beautiful. the concave face has a lot of character. if it only came in 17s, or even 18s, the directional fins on it are very sporty.

thank you, lemmegetatthat!
update: obviously still available! turns out it did NOT even puncture the tire! it was plainly superficial. buy me! oh those of you who are sick and tired of dented wheels and big potholes! (and quickly wearing 140 rated 18-inch low profile tires!)
