That is very strange... unless its something as simple as a bulb out. (salvage controller from ebay? Maybe the car crash messed up the bulb filament?)

I bought the entire center trim piece with the controller pulled from a brandnew 2011 328. The car was damaged on the dealer lot due to fire to the front end of the car. but the whole enterior and windows and so on were all in brand new shape. not sure if that has anything to do with it?

Sorry to yet again bump an old thread but has anyone had issues with the scroll working or not on this retrofit? Is that a common failure with the LCI controller?
In My 07 e91 all of the buttons, the select (push down), and bump (L,R,U,D) features work just fine but the scroll function no workey.... I'll try to check SW version in a bit to make sure I have the latest. |
