If you can't make it tonight I'm available most days after my normal 7:30-4(ish) job. I could also do this weekend if you wanted to do a little. I may not be able to do every feature right away, since I'll only do ones I have successfully tested.

Guys on here, if you have a question about coding aside from something pertinent to the general public, please just PM me and we can exchange e-mail addresses and/or numbers.
I mean its been chill when it was just Phil and I at the meet, but yeah I'm up for whatever, if we want to do something on friday with other cars I would be down. We need to get Phil's car all doctored up though for show season so he can rep us

I'm definitely looking forward to seeing some of your rides. Mine is all bone stock for now and needs a deep cleaning!

Hello Richmond BMW enthusiasts!
Last Friday I purchased my first Bimmer- -an 06 325i 6sp sedan. It's my daily driver, replacing a 1986 VW Quantum Syncro Wagon. Gotta have a manual trans!

I'll be on the lookout for your get-togethers and try to make it out. I work in Richmond, but live in Charlottesville, so I'm in the 804 most days, but sticking around past 5PM is sometimes difficult.

Do any of you autocross? That's my thing, and I do many of the VMSC, NASA, and Porsche Club events. For AXing, I've got a prepared Boxster S. For the curious, check it out at www.rennzenn.com.

Cheers,
Jeffro

Welcome! I'm new to this forum as well. Just got back into the area for my internship again. I checked out your site. Would LOVE to talk to you about some detailing! Maybe we can swap services since I'm getting this coding down (www.**************)

Stay posted on here to watch out for meets! Maybe you could stick around after work on a Tuesday when we decide to get together for dinner

Yeah, I'll be watching for a Tuesday PM dinner and try to join in. Does anyone here ever do the Richmond Cars and Coffee? I made one of those about a month ago...very nice autos!
Coding sounds interesting. FWIW, my wife has an 07 X3 and the passenger seat belt sensor needs some tweaking- when she has a bag in the passenger seat (always!) she has to buckle the belt to keep the belt light/chime off. Can coding make that feature any less sensitive, or turn it off altogether?

I'd be happy to discuss detail work. Give me an email at jfro@rennzenn.com. I don't think my PM's work for this site yet.

Search Facebook for Cars and Coffee Richmond and you'll find the group (and plenty of high quality car porn). I believe the meet is every other Saturday morning. The last one was Jan 28, so Feb 11 should be the next. The group meets at the Starbucks on the north end of the Huguenot bridge from 8ish until 10ish.

Yeah might need to hit that up. Also no coding can be done about seatbelts sadly. None I've seen

I test drove the 500 twice before I bought my 325. Yeah, I know, VERY different cars, but I was seriously considering holding out for the Abarth. With some Hoosiers, the Abarth will be very competitive in whatever stock SCCA class it lands in. The 500 sport I drove had some pretty cheap interior bits and I kept looking. When I found the 325 6mt sedan, all Fiat thoughts disappeared!

500 was not my cup of tea. Good on gas, but that was about it as far as what I liked. Makes me appreciate the 335 way more.

Yeah that will work for me. Bumper looks awesome btw, and i got the trim done at United Solar. I talked to Bobby there and he said he would do it on any cars for 100 dollars so if anyone is interested give him a call, work looks good though.

Thursday would be a better day for me this week as well.

Coding has been successful! I've now tested more an I'm pretty sure I've got it down
