Boost leak??

First off my mods are Jb3, Dual cones, Forge DV's and RR 2nd delete.

So this is the 2nd time this has happend. Both times where under similar conditions. Running with my cousin and his Jb3 at WOT for long periods. Speeds up to 155, and then down to 80, then 4-5 runs in a row from 45- 140(on a closed course.) The last time we did it, all of sudden my car just lost boost. I was at 5-7 psi on the boost gauge. Pulled over, shut off the car, started it up, and all was fine.
Well tonight, I pulled over right after it happend, pulled out the flashlight with the car still running, and started to check the Forge DV's. I noticed they where ICE cold. Dont know if thats normal or not, but I also noticed that the one closest to the front of the car, had possibly oil around the base of it. The charge pipe looked like it had a stain as well. Shut the car off, restarted, and then it was only boosting around 12 lbs in 3rd. Then it would build boost very slowly to 14.3. Then, up till 4000 rpm, I would only boost 9 lbs, then it would slowly creap up to 13. By the time I got back home it showed 14 on the boost gauge again, but it seemed like it would build boost real slow. I'm hoping its the DV's.
Oh yeah, no engine lights or anything. Any ideas?

TIA
-Ari

Definetely sounds like a boost leak.Check all connections, including the intercooler hoses, etc.

Not fixed. It happens everytime I hit anything above 135 mph. But, what happens is I only see stock boost when this happens. Its not the oil temps, or the water temps. And once I re-start the car, its fine.

Sounds like the ECU doesn't like something, can you datalog from the JB3 to see if your ECU is pulling timing?

Dont know about the datalogging. It didnt always happen. For the first month everything was fine. 155 mph no problems. Then one day it just started as soon as I went over 135.

remove the jb3, and or take off your mods one by one and see if you can make it happen stock.

then put the JB3 back on see if you can make it happen then the rest of the mods.

I really dont drive over 140 all the time, so if the circumstance warrants, I'll do it this week without the JB3 on there cause I'm going to the dealer for my directionals not working on Monday.

Could be water temps. When they get high, the ECU reduces boost to reduce heat load on the cooling system.

Nope. Monitored them during high speed runs through the hidden menu. Never went above 98 celsius. I'm dropping the car off tommorow at the dealer. When I get it back I'll test it out.
