I am waiting at the port for the Integrity. I hope my car gets on, I guess I missed the Toronto. I have a 335xi coupe, ordered July 16th.

That would VERY much surprize me. Not that someone on the internet would take a pot-shot at our region --- saying it's too polluted for cars, but that BMW would shutter a facility next to one of its largest markets.

It would be much more likely that BMW NA would make refinements to the VPC distribution system to make a more evenly balanced work load. Closing down the facility next to one of their biggest markets doesn't make sense. (Unless costs associated with doing business at the Auto Marine terminal have skyrocketed.)

Besides, the cars arrive with finish protective systems in place. The moment they go through the cleaning machine (see pic of my E46 going through it,) they are driven over to the VPC, where they are under cover from the weather.

Also hoping for the Integrity, my car was complete 9/14 (ordered May 11th)...so if the Integrity leaves on 9/17, has it already arrived? And when would my CA know if its on the ship? Same day?

My car is also on the Courage, but i have a question. Does anyone know how much, if by any getting the OEM Aero Kit installed at the port will delay my car?

I think the aero kits are installed at the dealership once the car is received if you go with BMW. Check with your BMW rep to find out about the process and delay it will cause. The aero kits come unpainted, so they will need to paint then install.

Just a note on this -- my dealer quoted $2200 for full aero kit + install. That's way too much unless you have money burning a hole in your pocket...

My dealer told me it would be installed at the VPC center at the port, i figure it cant be more than a two day delay. Mine quoted me the same number, but parts alone would be $1300, plus painting and install by some body shop here (guessing $500) along with the delay in recieving my car that ive already waited so long for doesn't seem like that bad of a rip off imo.

Interesting -- we'll, they would know. I guess either way its a small delay in the grand scheme of things...

If you are going to get it done by a body shop anyway, you might as well save some $$$ and order the parts from TMS or some other place:
