Help! Looking for Velcro floor mat anchors, screw type

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds

Item Interest
Does anyone know where I can get a couple of the round anchors that screw into the carpet and hold the floor mats in place? I've checked here, the web in general, etc, and can't seem to find any place where they're sold separately.

I just got a set of mats for one car and the pads came with the mats, but there is no part number on the packaging or instruction sheet that makes sense. I have another car that needs them (evidently the previous owner didn't know what they were for or how to use them) and that's why I'm trying to find a couple.

Even if someone can just provide a part number or generic manufacturer, I could take it from there...

Thanks in advance.

I am actually looking for these too. I just picked up my 2011 328 and the dealer gave me floor mats however they did not come with the velcro anchors. Not sure why but i am looking to purchase some.

More than likely they are the 62mm diameter...

What about anchors for rubber floor mats? I'd say about 3 times a day, my mat slips forward enough to interfere with the clutch. Suffice to say, it's really annoying.

Never looked underneath the rubber floor mats - do they have a velcro circle at back on each side? I know they don't have holes like the WeatherTech Liners do for the hook style MatGrips.

I guess you could use the BMW velcro mat grips if you could find some way to reliably glue velcro onto bottom of mats...

Brought mines to the Dealer for warranty repair on my rear window and left mirror defroster not working, so I mentioned that my all weather floor mats moved and is hitting the gas pedal so they gave me the anchors for free. So go to the Dealer.. it should be free.

Picked up my car for service yesterday and I mentioned it to the parts guy. I was willing to buy the part too. He installed them too, for free! Said that the all-weather mats slide the most as well. Go to your dealer and ask.

Just fyi for peeps in my area, Seattle BMW has several available still.

Just tell the dealer it's interferring with the gas/clutch pedal and they will take care of you. After the Toyota floor mat debacle, the dealer will install them for free. No question asked.
