Hi all new member intro

Hi all

Just wanted to introduce myself as a new member and thank you for accepting my join request.

I have a 2008 335i M sport, mods so far are only jb4 and high flowed turbos (due to them dying from waste gate rattle at only 55klms)

I'm just about to install vrsf cat less dump pipes, vrsf FMIC, vrsf charge pipe with bung, koni FSD shocks, M3 rear subframe bushes, BMS dual intakes and RB pcv valve. All sitting in the garage ready to install.

Should see a few more pony,s after these mods.

Regards

Dyll

Dude, you're meant to start off nice and slow then work your way into it. That's the art of modding.

HAha jokes but seriously, i'm so jealous. Are you running RBs? Or did you get a custom high-flow job done here in Melbourne?

But more importantly - WE WANT PICS
Oh and welcome to the forums

I did ring ATP once to find out about high flowing the N54 TD03s and they said it could be done, however I have read on forums high flowing the TD03s is a complicated task and only a selected few companies know how to do it e.g RB turbo, Vargus, turbo dynamics etc

It would be interesting to see how your ATP high flowed ones puts numbers down on the dyno. Stock turbos FBO on pump 98 typically puts down 260-280.

Will follow your progress with interest

Hi tawfeeqh

I have used Kyp before on my Gtr, and know plenty of others he has done work for, from my experience and others I can only recommend him. I believe he has done plenty now with good results, and normally has a set pre done on the shelf for a swap over.

All I can say is the car gos a lot harder now
Cheers

Thanks for the feedback.

I have also read only good reviews about ATP and kyp. Good to hear from someone using him for a n54 turbo upgrade.

Are you running jb4 or Cobb, have you had a back end flash or custom tune done yet?

Is it fair to assume that the swap is a lot less $$$ then an RB upgrade, which could be around $6-6.5k inc labour

I'm running the jb4 without a custom tune.

The turbos high flowed + waste gate shaft sleeved to fix the rattle was under 3k and my mechanic installed them for under 2k from memory. He showed me all the parts and machines he uses, seems to be a good Set up, I think the compressor wheels were 30% lighter or something like that and 10 to 20% more flow

Pretty happy to date
