Problems with Radio

Thanks for all the great information here. Last month I bought my 2nd BMW -an 09 335I CPO with Sport. The peformance over my 04 330i is significant. Wondering if anyone has experienced the following : For the 3rd time my Radio would not turn on for no real reason. I'll turn the car off and when I start it back up it's fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.

A break in your MOST system can freeze any components within it. If it isn't permanent/frequent I wouldn't worry about it.
Try refitting all your connections under your trunk floor and under the left trunk liner.

Do you have idrive? If so it could be a symptom of a Idrive boot problem. Best place to post this however is in the radio/ electronics section.

its probably just a blown fuse. it happened to me as well. suggest not taking it in to BMW to get it fixed tho because they think u tampered with the car and charge you for labor

A blown fuse wouldn't allow the radio to work after a restart as the OP claims.

The Stereo still powers up, just won't play, and I don't have iDrive. The car has logic 7 and it came with Comfort Access. Just got back from a run tonight and it was fine again.
