I have a set of barely used Performance Friction PFC 918 front pads for 335i with the 08 compound. The pads have barely 5000 miles and have been through 3 track days only. My car generally sleeps in the garage 6 days out of the week because I take public transport to work.

The pads were purchased new from Bimmerworld.com They cost $260 new. I am offering them to you for $180 + shipping. The pads have over 80% of the pad material left on them.

08 compound is one of PFC newest and have gained immediate favor in Endurance Sportscar, and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. 08 have a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation characteristics, and very low abraded disc wear. In addition to its considerable performance, 08 wears the longest of all PFC pads and easily matches wear of the other competitors with much higher bite.

Q: How's the NVH?
A: Those are race pads! When they are cold they squeek, they rattle a bit and they feel bit rough compared to the stock mushy pads. When they get heated up, they are flawless

Q: How much brake dust do they produce?
A: Those are metalic-carbon race pads! They produce more dust than the OEM pads but A LOT less than Porterfield RS-4. I generally wash the car once every two weeks.

Q: How are they on the track?
A: Absolutely fabulous! This is my 4th set of brake pads that I've tried on my car. They have excellent initial bite, and the bite improves slightly with temperature and remains constant. They produce little to no gasses and I've never been able to overheat them so far. Once heated up, they actually become quieter and much smoother compared to when they are cold. Modulation is very good. They are a true endurance race pad that will last you a long time.

Q: So why are you selling them if they are so good?
A: I am upgrading to StopTech BBK kit and I am selling those. I am keeping my OEM brakes in case I need to go back to stock and those pads are left over.
