need your wisdom tristate
There is a rim shop called EUDM autosports in brooklyn that is selling all these replica wheels. ITs about $700 for bbs replicas and all bmw rims. Does anyone have any experience with this shop and if so how is the quality of their rims. Are they good quality or do they bend because they will not offer any warranty whatsoever.
I know it obviously isnt as strong and reliable as original wheels but it would be cool to rock some new wheels and switch things up without spending 3k on wheels I have heard good and bad and very sketched out. I want to know the truth from you guys. thanks in advanced for any help |

the rims are a pos. dont do it. crappy ebay type wheels that are there very soft metal and bend very easy. plus they dont look as good. the spokes tend to curve inwards and are not a true straight face. when i had my e46 i traded an extra set of wheels i had lying around for some of them and they were garbage. they bent on the smallest bump and ended up selling them after a month and bought esm brand reps. esm makes much better reps that are actually more durable, look better, and fairly cheap. i have a set of those lying around in my basement. pm me if you want them maybe we can work something out, looking to change up wheel style a bit for the e90

I'm looking into purchasing zcp style wheels from them as well next month when weather gets better ...they carry all the name brands like Vossen and have things like Cobb and Lux at their shop normally you'd have to be a reputable company to sell those so I can't imagine them selling crappy quality products...Where we live I think any type of rim can bend easily we just have to drive safer...I also asked the person on the phone how the rims are made he said they're low pressure cast...I can't speak about the bbs reps but that's the zcp wheels best of luck

I drove 3 hours to visit their store a few weeks ago. I was very skeptical about the reviews they had online, most of which were bad but I figured I go check it out in person.
I was very disappointed with how the rims looked in person, and I didn't feel comfortable buying wheels from them specially after the dude that works there said the tire package comes with some shitty Chinese tires. The rims must be shitty if that's what they come wrapped in....so I stayed away. At the end of the day you get what you pay for. I suggest you do what I did and buy a set of used OEM wheels with tires included. A few hundred dollars more will save you lots of headaches. |
