2007 e90, Something Crazy Happened

Well I was driving yesterday afternoon and i forgot to put in the address for the restaurant i was supposed to go to. So I decided i'd try to put it into the I Drive anyways while on the highway. AND IT LET ME! I had a jeep before this car and I remember legally you can not input addresses while driving. SO my question is, what has the previous owner done to this 2007 e90 335i that i should know about?

BMW OEM Nav always have allowed address entries while driving since at least the E39.

wow thats awesome. this is my first bmw so im new to all the features. Thanks for the quick response btw. Any other features i should know about?
