Is the DVD reuired for normal operation?
Hello all..new owner of a 201 335i E93 with a question. I did a quick search and didn't see anything related.
The dealer did not have the DVD for the Nav system. It has apparently already been loaded and certified (no cert code either) so the nav appears to be working. Car alsow as missing the backup key and both were promised beforehand..may have to fight to get these replaced. Is the DVD a required piece to operate the NAv for normal operations or has the data been downloaded to the HDD? Thanks! |

Your 2010 has a hard drive Nav, no DVD is used.
Spell check is a wonderful option on E90Post. |

I love Kentucky. Grand folks had a place in Versailles KY. On the same road as the castle, Pisgah Pike. Your hard drive needs to be up dated at the dealer, sorry, but not cheap. Some do it every 2 years. GL.

I'm a broke single parent, not the typical BMW owner. I'll just live with my non-updated maps and if they are wrong, I have no shame I will stop and asl directions.
