With the auto-tuning activated, the PROcede will actively monitor knock status and ignition retard. With this info, it will adjust both the user torque level/max boost AND the ignition trim % until it achieves max safe performance (which can be defined by the user or left on default settings). Right now, there is too much variance between cars, conditions, fuel quality to provide a one-size-fits-all tune. So we are going to let the computer do what it does best in order to compensate. While still providing max/min authority ranges and a visual indication of knock activity (flashing SES light).

This is a true auto-tune (boost, fuel and ignition adjusted in both directions). Not like the auto-adapt or auto-tune terms that have been thrown around before which is basically wastegate DC adaption and negatively learned ignition corrections.

It's almost a year old quote, so who knows if anything learned since then has changed the approach.

T-pain aint got nothin on what we are doing

Autotuning is being developed right now. We've already starting putting auto-tune related features in work. And they are currently being beta-tested privately by 100 or so forum members.

It will work as described above. Basically, no more manually adjusting UT and IC and taking datalogs. The Procede will monitor knock activity realtime, every time you go on boost. It will self-adjust itself to the "ideal" UT and IC settings. So basically, plug in the Procede and just activate auto-tune. Game over.

Cheers,
shiv

Whew this procede is sounding better by the day. I get my DP's installed this weekend, then on the 17th im dyno and race my car on current JB3, then do the same with procede, and sell one or the other depending how the car performs. Shiv, still waiting on that PM for pricing no rush as im a week or two out from ordering. Just want to see my options with packages.

Shiv, will we be able to read the values that are changed by the auto-tune so we can know how our cars react to it, like ignition correction for example. Is it still have 3 degrees retard or it is somewhere in the middle?

Thank you

This autotune feature looks great, it would make me purchase a procede so long as it is the safest possible way of tuning my car, which so far it seems it would be?
