BMW touch up and Langka

so i recently picked up the BMW touch up paint, it comes with a clear coat.

A little test on a CD. So the brush that comes with the paint is extremely thick. It is impossible to work with on a car.
Same with the clear coat. The clear coat has a consistancy of glue.

It will be near impossible to get a thin enough layer on top of the touch up paint. Its just like adding another thick layer on top of the paint.
Langka is the consistancy of white glue for kids. pretty thick stuff.

Battle damage to be fixed this weekend with Langka.
I will be skipping the clear coat. Just paint and Langka

I thought my rock chips were bad

Sorry to see that. I just bought my car about a month ago and have some gnarly rock chips forming on the hood. I am about to cry...LOL So I feel your pain and will be getting some tought up paint myself.

Im not sure, but it looks like BMW touch up paint for Titaium Silver is darkers than whats on my car.

I ended up removing ALL the touch up paint with langka on purpose.

Round 2 this weekend.

I think on non metalic paint this will work "okay" but on metalic paint it might not work so good.

Im going to try again tomorrow.

The first time I had trouble applying an even layer of the paint.

If not shaken VERY VERY well, the touch up was darker then the car.

How old is your 330i? The longer it gets exposed to the sun, the lighter the paint will get due to fading. Hence, you won't be able to get a perfect match the older your car gets. If the BMW paint doesn't work out well for you, www.paintscratch.com is a very good alternative.
