I am a mechanic and car enthusiast and I strongly DISAGREE with removing swirl flaps, ive experimented alot with my own SER Altima that have shorter (similar setup) runner opening up after some rpm and figure out it is worth it being and working there! So after this i didn't even considered doing swirl flap delete on my "D"!
You guys ^ betted do a BETTER search, i remember on this forum, there was a thread that somebody after driving a car for a week with swirl flaps removed literally hated no torque at low rpm and got agruated enough to install them back in! Last edited by tryingtobebest; 07-30-2016 at 05:14 PM.. |

^ My flips are removed and my car has plenty of torque. Actually, 595ftlbs at the tire is plenty of torque. FYI- all most all of the tunes for these cars disable the flaps keeping them wide-open all the time. So...
