vishnu/fftec turbo price is 7500-8500 depending on turbo

Insideline article states this price. Also the car went 11.007!

I predicted this price already: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...postcount=1123

Hi guys-- The price that Edmunds listed isn't finalized by any means. It's actually incorrect. Pricing will be announced soon.

Oh wow I must say that is very reasonable for the kind of power that car is making! I'm still not going to believe any price until shiv posts the cost, size of turbos, what all is exactly included in the kit and if we need to purchase any other parts Ect...wonder if there will be any warranty if performed at there facility or out source to a shop that they have relationships with. If I were to do this upgrade I would for sure want some kind of assurance that if something does go wrong I know I'm not s*^t out of luck

I figure it represents our general ballpark. Good times. Been waiting for a 10 second timeslip.

Yep it ran a 11.00 tonight despite riding the rev limiter in 1st gear for 0.8s! Video and logs to come. A 60' time of 1.57. Finally figured out how to launch it

Hey Creaminz,

You have a AT correct? Can you report back your findings and how the car feels with the AT tranny?

Thanks!

Am I the only one noticing the tiny air filter placement? Not exactly a CAI, nor easily serviceable. I guess you got to work with the space you have... but I see room for improvement already!

Looks like the stock charge-pipe is being used.

Actually, it's easy to access the air filter with the turbo kit installed. With the vaccum tanks removed, you can fit your whole arm in there.

Glad to see the install went well creaminz. Looking forward to seein the car this weekend at bimmerfest. And really looking forward to getting it on our dyno

Wouldn't it be possible to fab a pipe for the cone to sit where the vacuum canisters used to be?

Would cost 100 bucks extra but would help.

The pipe would have to be flattened a bit to clear. And it would end up sitting in an area which is arguably warmer. Unless a duct was built since the factory duct will be way too restrictive. These things will be designed/released over time.

if the $8500 includes everything.. meaning i can bring a totally stock car in and for $8500 have a working single turbo car this is a good deal.. but im assuming this is not true

Shiv is there going to be a price difference for an FBO car (with procede already) vs. a stock car which would need many items? What does the kit include?
