Switched back to 255 35s and rubbing now gone. I can appreciate the better handling and looks better to me as well.

Having same issues as the OP. Want to get spacers but the H&R/Bilstein combo settled quite a bit and I'm worried about rubbing in the rear. I'm on 19X8.5 ET 35 in the front and 19x9.5 ET 33 in the rear with 235 front/265 rear tires. 10mm might be aggressive but I'm thinking 5mm all round?

One of the nicest e90's I've seen, what color is it without the effects? Space Grey?

I used to have the H&R bilstein combo and the springs lowered the rear too much and not enough in the front. The ride quality was also punishing over bumps on rough roads. The handling was superb though. I now have Eibachs with the bilsteins and the ride is much more comfortable and the drop is perfect. the handling is not as good but still way better than stock.
