*Correction it wasn't the Bimmerworld kit it was the kit from BavAuto. (I get these places confused. my mistake) I got it on their eBay store and they said it would fit my 07 335i.

How long would the service intervals on these be under spirited street driving conditions? i.e. how frequently would one need to regrease the guide pins and/or replace the o-rings and dust caps?
Given that they have dust caps to seal them and oil impregnated bronze to keep things from binding up I wonder if they would last just as long as the OE parts but with improved pedal feel. Most brass bushings have to be greased frequently so I wonder if these would be the best of both worlds.

Also do people typically install these on all four corners or just fronts?

Oups sorry guys didn't see the question about service intervals. Compared to your typical solid guides these are going to have a heavily extended service life. Your "standard" brass guides have a suggested re rube interval of every 6 months, ours are about double that. The mileage or timing is going to depend upon vehicle use, the more aggressive use the more often you should be inspecting everything.

snaimpally - I love my early adapters, shoot me a message before you place your next order and I'll get you at least an ECS goodie bag!

I'm hoping some Syl Glide every year then should be pretty good to keep everything smooth. http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E90-328....0L/ES2609168/
Or maybe would Permatex Ceramic Extreme last even longer for this application?

I've never used solid bushings before so I just wonder what happens anyway if these are neglected? Do they just totally lock up?

I researched the Bimmerworld bushings before installing them a couple weeks ago on my car. I found a ton of E30, E36, etc. users that didn't lube the pins at all on their street cars with no issues to report after running them for years. I check mine at least twice a year anyway, so we'll see how it goes...

Thanks James. I'm on the ecs website fairly often. You always have some cool new stuff and the prices on everything, oem or aftermarket, are the best. I'm sure the next order won't be too far off.

We had an issue with our batch spec ed for the FRONT E9X 335 and M3 calipers that was realized shortly after their release. We're working to get another production run completed asap. Until then these are not available. Sorry guys.

From what I heard from David, front bushings are not sized correctly for this batch.

Well, actually glad I didn't receive a test kit in the end, would have been a pain to remove the bushings I have from Bimmerworld and then discovered the new parts wouldn't fit... These things are a bit annoying to install if you are doing it yourself with just jack and jack stands.

How so? It's not anymore annoying than swapping the pads themselves IMO.

You will have to install the retainer clips, which is a little difficult to do with the caliper still attached to the brake line.
