LA Rain

All I can say is: rear wheel drive + ~400whp + bald PS2s + flood on sunset blvd = real tail happy car. With traction control fully engaged the car was still sliding all over the place.
Thank god for the performance driving courses I took last year!

Be safe guys.

Be carefull, its supposed to pour for the next 48 hours. I had a 328i with 18,000 miles that I turned in for a 335i last year. The rear tires were getting worn, but it wasn't until I drove it in heavy rain that I realized how bad the tires had gotten. I was driving on the 118, and hit some low spots. The rear end hydroplanned big time. Had to get new rears to the tune of $800 with only 2 months left on the lease.

The whole way to the meet on Friday, I just closed my eyes and prayed that my car would magically hover over any and all potholes. It worked Ha.

I don't drive the car when it rains to avoid those damn potholes. But the rain is a nice change up

Saw an AW E90 with gloss roof fly by traffic on 5 S before the 134, I drove all day in my dads Honda and E90s were always on the fast lane.

On a side note RainX works wonders

Many people drove like sissy in the rain...
I kid...

but doesn't justify driving in pouring rain on freeway doing 25-30 MPH without tail light or headlights....
I bet there's many SoCal-ers found out just now their wipers are f'ed up or the tires were bald...

saw a Montego Blue E90 stock rear-ended on 10E @ 110 split this afternoon....the front was like destroyed...and numerous firetrucks were at the scene....left only one lane open....hope they're ok...

I'll take rain over snow anytime. Here in the east coast we have to deal with temperatures below freezing, black ice, several inches of snow and our RWD BMW either stuck or parked. Then the fun begins come early spring. You get to test your driving skills. Yup those massive POTHOLES.

I have been surprised, the M3 drives pretty good in the rain. New tires and DSC work pretty good. Careful out there you guys.

Yup...rain is nothing for the people on the other side of the continent...
However, people here drive like a snow day when there's just some water on the road...
