Too much red? Opinions please!
I've been thinking about buying some Dark line rear lights, but in the meantime wondering what alternatives there are.
I've photoshopped the reversing lights red to match the rest but think its a bit too much on a red car. Would look better on another colour I think? The 330d lettering is also shopped black, I can't decide on that yet or removing them totally How it looks now: I'll photoshop it with Dark lines in a min and post that too. Edit: forgot to say, shopped the plate too, will be removing the horrible GB ones, they upset the symetry! (another reason to maybe debadge) |

Standard lights. Blacking the 330 looks aight but ill just completely remove it. Maybe look into limo black tints if your into those kind of mods

I'm not going to go for LCI, too expensive for what you get!
I'd rather spend the money on other things. I'd never get rear limo tints, they make estates look like vans Maybe a light tint all round, but thats as much as I would get. I will probably just debadge it, might do it tomorrow morning and see how I like it, I'm not usually a big fan of debadging a car no matter what model it is. I changed to black lettering on my RS4 and it looked much nicer, so will see.... As for red tint on the lights, I might give it a go, if I don't like it I'll just get some dark lines! It does look give it a very clean look in the photoshop though |

Think I prefer it all red, but does look good on yours.
I've just found this thread of a red E91 with Dark lines and don't think it works as well as I thought it would! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=7120514 My photoshop looks much better!! Based on that, here's another debadged. I think that has to be the one |

one thing I read before I did mine was that you have to have a strip of white showing otherwise its illegal, just so you know mate
and I do think all red looks really nice on a red car, on mine it would look too much, on yours, looks flush, |

I think smoked out tails would look good, theres a guy on here "Rudz" who has a good example, looks smart. All red is better than stock for sure but think the smoked tails would break it up nicely seeing as though the car is red

Looks great debadged and all red.
The badge is wonky anyway. Also, it's been mentioned in another thread. Either the reg plate is wonky or its not been printed square to the plate. |

Also tinted my rear lights red ith tinting film (although I have an e92) looks so much better, Lci lights are nice just way to expensive really.
Be careful though as I got the film on ebay, and its gone pink. Need to buy some more and do it again really.

Think the all red looks clean, but I like the darkline more. I just fitted a set couple of weeks ago, can forward you the details of the Germany supplier if you need

If I don't like it, I'll get some darklines. I've already found them on ebay.de for £169 delivered, can you beat that? |

All red looks loads better. I've just done mine and very happy with it.
I've not bothered with the reverse light cut out. I can't remember the last time i relied on using the reverse lights. |
