E92 Headlamps broken!
Hey everyone, turns out my headlamps are aiming too high and cannot be adjusted because a piece is broken in both headlamps.
Does anyone know where I can find or selling E92 Headlamps?! the dealership wants $3600! Thanks for any help!! |

i have the same problem. my left headlight started pointing too high out of nowhere. and i came to realize that the motor assembly for motion inside the headlight isnt working. dunno why. happened about a week ago.

My car is an off lease, from the US...unfortunately the car fax was not as accurate as i hoped. The car had been in a previous fender bender...which broke the motion assembly in the headlamps, therefore not covered by the warranty anymore. Albeit there are NO scratches on the headlamp!! I don't understand... also, no fault codes were present when the dealer scanned the vehicle.
I'm in the process of taking it up with BMW financial NY, where the car was bought from...regardless, i need to replace the headlamps. THank you very much for viewing and trying to help. If anyone does come across a contact or a vendor who deals with OEM E92 headlamps other than the dealer I'd greatly appreciate the help. Thanks again. |

There is a control arm the self levels when you turn the lights on, they won't throw any codes I don't think...

hmm..its probably going to be a PITB project to get warranty on those lights from the US dealer where you bought it from. most likely your best bet (cheapest anyways).
