[BMA-E92]

Hi Guys,
Im looking at installing an akrapovic stainless steel slip on system to my E92 335i DCT with N55 motor.
Just wondering if any one else has installed it to their car in the Melbourne Victoria area ? As I would love to hear the car in the flesh.
(youtube only offers so much)
Also is there anything i should look out for when installing this system ? E.G the car showing a error light on the dash ect...

help would be greatly appreciated !

with recent activity in vic i'd be inclined to keep the exhaust as quiet as possible. The last thing you want is any attention from the boys in blue.

That was my first thought as well , but I have been asurred by my installer that it meets all emissions standards as well as noise standards.

i find that very hard to believe. BMW no longer afaik offer the perf exhaust for this reason.

Its not an OEM BMW exhaust , its an aftermarket exhaust made by a Akrapovic. Its also not the full exhaust system its a slip on system.

You would have to check the max DB that system produces then compare it to our Victorian laws. Don't believe what you read on web sites, it's made in slovenia.. the legal value there may be different to victoria.
