jb4 + ethanol

Hey guys,

anyone using ethanol here?

Im trying to figure out what is needed to use ethanol? Do i need to empty tank before using ethanol.

do i need anything else?

20l of E85 and the rest with 98 (=E30)
put it on map 5 and do some 3rd gear runs - thats all you have to do.

and are you able to clarify what do you mean exactly by 3rd gear runs?

BMS say to start at 30% E85 with 98 ron & you can ramp up to 40% - any more and your fuel pump system starts to get stressed - so never run more than 40% E85.

3rd gear power runs - say 2000 revs to 6000 revs - do about 3 of these so the jb can self tune in map 5 - you should feel the power increase
