Try Plano Car Care on Coit just north of parker (across the street from brakes plus), owned and run by an asian couple. No guarantees but they passed my last vehicle with a tire that was practically bald, he just pointed it out.

Let's keep recommendations like this to PM-only. Wouldn't want anyone getting in trouble. No one knows who is reading these forums. Just sayin

I've not used this technique in years, but it works well. Roll the windows down and disable the switch. Fuse or just pull the switch out of the drivers door. With them down, they can't inspect them and won't fail the car.

...and when you get stopped for illegal tint and they read who inspected your car (yes, they do this), then the owner of that establishment loses their State Inspection license and pays a hefty fine. Nice move - not to mention the questionable judgment used having such dark tint, which limits visibility, particularly at night.

Really...that goes for the rear window too? How does that work?

^^ wouldn't matter on the rear windows as there is no tint limit on anything but fronts (25%) and windshield (clear uv). You can have 0% on the rear windows and back windshield if you want to.

Next time be aware of the consequences before you shoot your keyboard off without thinking clearly. I'm very familiar with the "statutes", being ex-law-enforcement, wiseguy.
