P02D0 - Cyl 3 Fuel Injector Offset Learning at Min Limit

Does anyone have any idea what specifically causes this code?
Like what parameters would trigger the DDE to throw this code?

Jarek flashed the latest DDE version to my car along with a tune. Adaptations were done but the code persists.

The injector is brand new and has been coded to the car. I don't have warranty and can't really afford to endlessly throw injectors at the car so I was wondering if there's anything else I can do to clear this code.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you switch injectors from 3 -> 2 does the code says that now error in the Cyl 2?

I can give that a shot this weekend, but assuming it doesn't, is it an indicator of more CBU?

I cleaned it out when I first bought the car, but was unable to get behind the valves very well as I don't have the walnut shell cleaning tools.
Did the best I could with a shop vac, engine degreaser, and a set of picks.

I'm really curious what the DDE conditions are for that code to get triggered.
Is it a fuel flow thing?

I had this and many other codes such as NOX sensor etc when my DPF started to get clogged. After my delete and BPC stage 2+ all is well. Did you do the deletes? If not I would measure your spot mass etc which can easily be done in Carly. Good luck!

Deletes are done in software. Only thing left to do is swap out the exhaust which will be done this weekend.

I had the misfortune of running the delete tune without deletes for a few minutes and got a couple random codes as well. I would ignore it unless you get the same codes after the deletes. How far have you driven since the tune?

When I say deletes I mean hardware not software. As I rated had same codes till DPF was removed and downpipe installed.

My 2011 with 65k had rough idle for a couple of weeks and then the threw a p02D0. It only ran rough below 1500 rpm. I kept driving watching for poor mileage or I low power. BPC recommended swapping 3 injectors. I took a spirited drive over some mountains on Saturday and the code as well as the rough idle are gone.
It seems to me to be a software bug in the DDE.
I may have to have the DDE reprogrammed or replaced one day.

Here's what ISTA has to say for that fault code:
Fault description:
Zero-quantity adaptation monitoring.
The fault is set if the following preconditions exist at the same time:
- The corrected activation duration of the injector at one of the 3 calibration points drops below the minimum activation duration.
- The deviation at one of the 3 calibration points drops below the minimum limit value.

Condition for fault identification:
Depending on the operating point.
Control unit voltage: 9.5 V to 16 V.

Condition for fault memory entry:
The fault is entered if it has been detected more than the following number of times (fault debouncing counter): 1

Action in service:
Replace fuel injector

Fault effect and breakdown warning:None

Driver information: Malfunction indicator lamp

Service instruction: If an injector is replaced, the following service function must be carried out: Injection quantity compensation.

Has anyone tried LiquiMoly's product "Diesel Purge" for this issue and ran directly to fuel line? I am having same injector code only 300 miles after running GREAT with my new stage 2 JR tune, iaknown's downpipe and egr plates. Have not gutted the SCR yet. Could SCR already be clogged and causing the issue? Would trying the diesel purge cause any harm, or maybe someone has had good luck with this helping what seems like a minor injector miss?

Any advice appreciated!

Almost 4 years back when i got the car, and it was stock, it got rough idle the first winter. I put almost a bottle full of amsoil diesel kleen + cetane boost, and it went away. It never had any injector codes though.

i think our injectors do not like the winterized fuel. I drove up to Washington state and once I filled up in Washington, I was having an unstable cold idle. once I filled up after leaving the state. 2 tanks later. gone.
