Basically I bought the Carly Gen II wifi adapter and the full app in the hope of activating DVD in motion. However I went to code it tonight (knowing I had to pay the £14.99 in app purchase price) when it said my car couldn't be coded for it?!

I'm a bit puzzled because it's a 2011 LCI model with CIC and USB interface etc and the DVD player. It says that only CIC models after 2008 can be coded for VIM but mine is a 2011 model?

Am I doing something wrong as it won't even let me enter the option to pay as it straightforward says my car can't be coded?

Carly initially asks for the model year of the car when you set it up.

Did you select 2011 and tell Carly the model?

You can always go back and "add" a different car profile in Carly to fix this.

Hi Opjose, yeah I did both ways. I put in my car manually and then reset and did the automatic recognition thing. Both to no avail 😕

I suggest firing off an e-mail to them via their web site.

They normally respond within a day or two.

make sure you select your car first and then connect to the car, then you should be able to purchase the feature and code the car.
