That's what happened to me and how I did the Blacklines Group Buy.

PS - You know I don't wanna get this binned or anything by the way, I am just genuinely interested to see what happens as I want whatever I can get off an LSD obviously!

I never saw the harm in a group buy arranged by a forum member who would not gain financially (except through saving on the buy itself) so it was a shame that got canned to be fair.

Still, rules is rules eh?

Last bump before emailing them to get a final price.

Do we know what the total cost inc. P&P is going to be per person?

I'd be game for this but would like to know the costs first.

Will include you when I email them. Presuming no UK taxes on import, there will be the cost of me sending them on to each of you - unless you pickup at a meet etc. I'm hoping that they should be able to bundle the lot for the one postage charge. Plus we should also get a discount for bulk purchase.

Cool.

Just watched this video:

It looks to me like it just colours the chips as opposed to properly filling them. In that video you can see a couple of times where he paints the chip and uses the solution but the indent of the chip can still be seen.

What are everyone's thoughts on this?

Just watched that vid. I'll be filling my chips. If that means doing a layer - letting it dry etc, then so be it.

Says on the website

STEP 1: The paint is dabbed on with a brush, then lightly smeared with your thumb to smooth the paint flat and flush across the chip. It may be reapplied as needed until it appears to adequately cover the chip.

Ah of course, for reference my colour code is 475 M - Black Sapphire.

I look forward to hearing what they say about a group-buy.

Out of interest, has anyone tried a touch-up kit from Halfords like this:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...egoryId_165580

Also www.paints4u.com seem to do a good range.

None of it looks as simple as a dab on/wipe off process. Just wondered if anyone had tried them...and I assume you can buy a touch-up kit from a stealer too?

Black permanent marker pen works wonders for small stone chips on the bumpers on Black Sapphire.

I am not joking

Has anyone used the BMW (Genuine) paint pens or even the scratch remover kit?

Not sure if the links will work or not:

I've used the BMW paint pens - they're OK. I had to keep applying and polishing back etc to get an (almost) not noticeable finish....

Response - let me know if still in.

We can package all of the kits in the group buy and the savings would be in the combined shipping + we would discount the purchase price of the Road Rash kit by 10%. Effective price per kit would be $68 inclusive of shipping. It would be the responsibility of the individual we are shipping to to distribute the kits once they reach Great Britain. Thank you.

Am I correct in saying that its around £45.50?
