"Aux" mode has disappeared

By pressing "mode" button, I don't get Aux selected any more in my head unit (Basic version in Europe). I used to listen MP3 player via aux connection under the armrest. My car battery went empty some time ago and that might have caused it or at least it haven't been working after that. I don't want to upgrade the progman, since I run a piggyback in my 335i and new Progman means trouble for it. Any ideas/suggestions?

AUX-mode disappeared

Hi,

I'm having exactly the same problem in my car. It started when my battery died a few weeks back. Now there is no AUX-option when I scroll with the MODE-button.

Can anyone help, how to get it back??

Thanks in advance!

Do you have the USB/iPod integration?

I had this happen when I had the USB cable plugged in to the port. I unplugged it and it started working just fine

anyone?

UP...

Still haven't figured the way to fix this problem. Haven't anyone got a DIY fix for this? Or do I have to take the car to the dealer and pay big money to get the aux rocking again?

Thanks again!

Same problem... AUX is greyed out and not accessible in my list of audio inputs.
Was working a month and a half ago. Can't put my finger on a particular event that may have caused it.

My

Issue isn't
Quite the same. But my Aux/USB jack was loose. Aux was wiggling. Dealer swapped in warranty. Ever since, originally loaded iPhone or iPod now only connects as Aux. So it used to load and control through ORN headunit. Now it's just a dumb port for pass through.

Coding issue needing

Thanks
