it depends if the rest of your car is stock. if it is, the id go hyper silver. but if u have matte black grilles, dark tint, matte black 335i letters on the back, matte black window trim, smoked lights, then id say get matte black rims.

Anything that isn't black or that could be confused as being black or almost black. Definitely go with something silver/aluminum colored.

The contrast is what makes the space gray hot, being that space gray is a medium gray shade and is otherwise about as nondescript as one can get. Space gray is thus best used to highlight the things against which it's set: wheels, interior seat colors and so on. Black plays down the contrast.

SG is also a rather sophisticated color, so again, to stay with the theme, go for understatement in the wheel color. Allow the wheels' design to say "Oh, look at me" if you feel the need for some flashiness.

i would agree with the above statement ONLY if your car had accents like the aluminum trim and grills etc.. but if you have the sports package, performance grills, i would go with a darker color.

example: photochopped into space gray from Preciseeyes whip.

the darker color rims doesn't downplay the car at all.

Agreed. Even if I had black window trim and a black diffuser, (black front grills and lower mesh already) I still would keep my rims the same. I think gunmetal would look alright but I think the painted silver looks best with SG, IMO

i love how they look in 19"s on your lowered 335i, id like to lower my car i just don't think I could do that and get the front lip and still have clearance to get in my driveway, would those VMRs still look good in 18"s on a 335i thats not lowered?
