First car I started driving in high school was a red 1994 Nissan Quest minivan. It sucked driving a minivan, but I learned to deal with it by inviting girls out to lunch in it. So it became a party van.
My first car I owned was a 1998 Mustang GT. I was a poor college student so couldn't afford many mods. Just lowered, Flowmaster exhausts, intake. It had a hell lot more torque than horsepower so the rear wheel always slid forever on hard takeoffs. |

First car owned i bought in 1994 and it was a 1978 VW rabbit, this weird lime green faded to cream green color. Bought it for $500 with money I earned. I was 15 1/2 when I bought it so in the 6 months i had the car but couldn't drive it I managed to scrape together money for a tape deck, two 10" subs, a cheap "roadmaster" amp, and tinted the windows 5% all the way around. lol Washed it once a week and basicaly just counted the moments untill I could drive it.
2 weeks after turning 16 a friend jumps into the drivers seat as a joke and takes off in it as a joke. His first time driving a stick and he over reved it more than a few times and we think jumped the timing chain because when he brought it back the engine was knocking horribly and ended up detonating on the ride home. lol I bought a 1987 Civic Si hatch with help from the parents after that and loved that little car for many years... |

In 1970 I bought a 1951 Chevy for $150. I drove it for a year while attending community College, then sold it and went into the military. My first new car was a 1980 Buick Skylark (GM X-car). What a piece of crap. No more GM for me after that.

When I got my drivers license in 2005, I drove a hand me down '05 Land Rover LR3 HSE which I drove for three months, then I got a brand new ('07) one for my birthday. Great car- the third row seats were awesome to have when I was in high school.... we rarely had to take multiple cars, haha!

My first car in Germany was a 1997 Mercedes Benz C-Class (W202) 5MT with a tiny 1.8 Liter 4 cylinder engine (gas is so expensive in Europe).
Loved it nonetheless. Lowered the car with an Eibach Suspension and put on some 17" AMG wheels (staggered). Even though I love my Bimmer, I still miss my old car. |

first car I was allowed to drive at 16 was a 1999 ML430, had to pay for gas and insurance, but it was a 3rd car in the family... couldn't take it to college, and I have been working since 14, so I financed a 04 jeep grand cherokee SE (dad cosigned, I paid every penny) when I was 19, lifted it, tires, lots of suspension work.. graduated last sept, landed the best job I could have, got my 335 (consignor free, because of credit history + salary) and kept the jeep for 4 months until I was offered an awesome deal, and just sold it last month
