Traction Control

I have a 2007 6AT 335i with JB4, DCI and BMS Catless DPs. Even after long press to deactivate traction control it still seems to kick in. I can't do a standing burn out, as soon as the tires break loose, it kills the power. Also at the top of 1st gear on a hard pull it kills the power when the tires start to break lose. Has anyone else had this problem? any solutions?

No problems here. Are you getting the Traction Control icon lighting up? Are you in M1 and hitting the rev limiter? The car will shift itself in M1, but it isn't necessarily a nice shift, it's more of a, "seriously, guy?" shift.

I don't even bother starting with M1 at all. Try M2

No TC Icon, and It does it both in DS and M1. It's normal for these cars to not be able to do a standing burnout on dry pavement? O.o

Hold the DCT button down for like 4 seconds and traction control will be 100% shut off.

Hold the button down and turn it all the way off, then log with your JB4... and get out of 1st gear, it's worthless.

It sounds like you are just getting to DTC which a short press gives you and DTC lights up on the dash. After the long press, it should have the circular arrow around a triangle icon indicating it is totally off and then you should be able to spin the tires all you want!

less brake and more gas! Its difficult because it will shift to second if u hit the redline and may bog.

No, I have it set to DTC on start up. So for it to turn completely off it requires a short press, then a long press. It does have the circle on the dash, indicating complete disengagement, which is why I am confused.

Now if only I could have found a 6MT when I bought my car, I would have these issues hahaha
