Here is Hermann Tilke's artist rendering of the track his firm design. Pretty interesting!

This is the Tilke project list

Oh! and Both Lotus and Caterham will look like this for just the weekend - it's a logo for a regional Renault brand...see it?

First of all, thanks for the reminder mate!

Unfortunately, we don't see much activity around the track still.
Surroundings are still construction sites and/or not being developed grounds.

Otherwise will be a pretty cool "street" circuit.

I've been wishing Vettel would skip a race. Make it interesting.

No prob...glad I could help
It's definitely interesting to go to such a "gritty" location in between Singapore and Japan all that they bring.

Hate to say it, but I predict another yawn-fest will be in full swing by lap 3.

Let me see if I have this right...

- Vettel sets lap record with worn out medium tires
- Vettel expands lead to 32 seconds over field
- Vettel has another pole to pole win

Let me add to that, bjb: RBR remotely enacts illegal traction control mapping for 2nd and 3rd gears so that they not only win but win by a huge distance. keep in mind this is for Vettel not Webber.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if that were true. It just seems too uncanny that Vettel's car seems to be able to do things the others can't.

I'm going to try and get there for this race. I'm just seeing this, so I'm not sure if I can still get tickets. If I make it...I'll post plenty of pics.

I can't find tickets. Wish I had done some foresight planning. I'm also heading to Japan next weekend. Maybe I can snag tickets for that race.

That's just the reality of better design and engineering. Alonso's car also miraculously performs better than Massa's. Senna's car was also able to do things that no other car on the grid could do. Do you see a patern here?

I'm also pretty sure the factories design the cars around the driving style of the driver they believe has the best shot at the title. In other words, the car is tailored for the number one driver which may cause issues for driver two.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if Kimi or Hamilton or Alonzo were to switch cars with Vettel.

He is a great driver no doubt.

Vettel is fast, RBR is faster. I.e you need them in the same cars to know who is the fastest driver.
