For $25 or so, when new, they do look whiter or less dull yellowish when compared to stock but after about 4 months or so, the coating on the bulb started to peel off and back to yellowish color.
Why I say that, I took the GPT out one time for just general inspection after about 3 - 4 months of use and saw the coating started to peel off ... not a little but a fair amount. Anyway, what can you expect for $25 bulb these days. I also tried out the expensive ones as well, like PIAA, no peeling but the light color output is not what it marketed on the box at all. Therefore, I agreed with your remark. Not worth it. |
