The main power fuse for the Logic 7 amp is...

...#15 (20 amp) in the fuse box behind the glove box (for a 2008 E93 with Logic 7).

Why did I post this? Well, after my little disaster (and "near death experience")...see this thread (http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1070246 ) ...I searched and searched and searched for someone/anyone who had stated where the fuse to the Logic 7 amp was. Maybe it is too obvious for someone to waste their time responding (which it turned out to be), but... when one is in panic mode, you just don't think clearly. That's what the forum is for, right?

But, as I said in the thread above: In my defense (if there is any for panicking like I did)...right after it happened...I talked to my BMW friend/mechanic and he said that simply blowing a fuse was unlikely and started scaring the heck out of me with diagnostics. I pulled the MOST and checked the fiberoptics to the amp..."probably a blown amp", he said, but "bring it in tomorrow and we'll scan it".

Uh...hello...just the fuse!

Now we know where the fuse it, right?

(PS. This all happened when I tapped into the power wire (red with gray stripe) in the Logic 7 bundle for a switched power supply to use a remote power on supply. Someone else did this and said it worked fine.

And it did...for about 10 minutes. Then, I got an SOS warning light and all of my audio and Bluetooth went down. It all came back without issue once I replaced fuse #15.

So...DON'T use that as your remote on power supply when installing an after market sub and amp! )

Where did you end up running the remote wire to?
