If you are going to buy wheels, go with 18s. throw snow tires on the 16s for the next winter. For wheels, check out some of the sponsors on here. Some good choices are made by VMR, Avant Garde, Linea Corsa, Forgestar

Painted reflectors can be purchased from bimmian for around $75

...is there an noticeable increase in cabin noise with 18s? I've got 16s on mine and the interior is nice and quiet and I'd like to keep it that way...

if anything you car will get more quiet based on the tires you choose. I went with ContiProContacts for my 18s in a non-runflat and its much quieter and less harsh than the stock runflats. These are the same tires but even being a non runflat made a difference.
