Best dash cam for parking?
I'm going back to high school soon and I have to find a dash cam for when I park. There have been cases of people's cars being keyed and hit before. I know a camera won't stop them but I guess I'll know who did it. I don't need it to record while I drive, only when I park. Im looking for something with motion detection. It also has to last for a full day. Not sure what people use so any input would be great, thanks!

i need to get one too...there lot of hit runs and people are lot less honest then they use to be.
You basically just need a dash cam with a park monitor function and then just wire it to a always on wire or to the battery. There's a bunch of good ones on amazon, just depends on your budget and if you want to record at 720p or 1080p, things like that. I was thinking of one of those duel cam one for the front and one for the rear and the rear functions as reverse parking cam ones. |

If I were you, I'd go with Blackboxmycar. Price match and can't beat that. Blackvue offers motion activation.

Was looking into this earlier, the blackvue looks like the best option if you want something that isn't obvious and has all the bells and whistles.
My area really doesn't have issues with vandalism, it's the uninsured drivers and Texas's habit of handing a license to anyone that has a pulse. |
