I hear Mercedes have nice leather.. And, erm, I also like the HUD in a lot of taxis - it's cool.
Not too sure about reliability, or three tone interiors, or handling... Ok ok, I hate them even more than I do Audi!!! Matt |

Sorry, but the new C-class is hideous.

The new C Class is a superb car, its handling is 98% there compared with BMW and its comfort is 100% better than BMW.
Comfort is however better on the M3 with EDC compared with the C63 with the performance pack, but you can't have the LSD on the AMG without the ultra stiff dampers, not in the UK anyway. I personally think they both look good in the right trim and colours. The gadgets in both are superb. I think I would take a C63 over an M3 with this new model. |

All the reveiws have said the C63 feels a lot more hardcore than the E92 M3, which was the biggest surprise. I have only tried one without the performance package, and it felt about the same as the E92, would like to see how much difference there is with the performace pack. |

Again same story - handling not as good as the M3; straight line is faster Nurburgring laptimes speak for all: E92 M3 - 8.05 E63 M6 - 8.11 E60 M5 - 8.13 Mercedes C63 AMG - 8.13 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nürburgring_lap_times

Not doubting the M3 still edges it over the AMG, the weight at the front of the AMG would make me think that it would be a far biiger gap than 8 seconds around the 'ring, so surprised it did as well as it did to be honest.
I would be interested to see what the C63 could do on cups. Anyway, my point was about how hardcore it feels, Drivers Replublic did a great review of it vs the E92 M3, and one of them owns an E92. They concluded that on the road the C63 felt more special, more hardcore, and they thought that it would be faster on track, but when they got it on track the M3 was the winner. They said both of them were awesome, as they new the M3 would be, but the real surprise was just how good the Mercedes was. Quote:
