Missing 50 mm crow's foot?

Way back in 2017, I wrote a thread about swapping out my diff over to one with Wavetrac LSD installed. It is shown here for reference.

Within thread, I used a 50 mm crow's foot provided by TDIwyse. I then shipped on to OmahaDZL who used it and then sent on to another guy. He and I have lost track of the tool. I am needing to bring my diff back down for another project and seek the tool.

Does anyone know where it is? If yes, send me a PM so I can give you my name and address to send it to. thanks

I will go over to NABDOG and ask same question.

IIRC they have them at harbor freight. However, they are not sold individually so you will need buy a set. However, I don't find them on their site...but could have sworn I saw some and thought to myself...I don't need that because I can always borrow yours.

This is what I used. Maybe not as nice as the oem version, but better than Harbor Freight IMO. They have fast shipping and lifetime warranty.

Thanks D989. I gave in and bought same tool you show. Prior poster to you will borrow mine as he is about 8 miles from me. That is if he choses to swap over to an LSD diff.

Glad I could help. I thought that thing might not grip well because I have had that experience in the past with crows foot wrenches, but that thing is a solid piece.

I’m all done and back together. Diff whine is now gone with OE rubber bushings back in place. I had to redo the compensated torque calculations for the slight different E that the Tekton unit has but it came out to 51.x lb-ft that I set the torque wrench at. I stress importance that you guys do your own math as length of my torque wrench is different than others perhaps.

What is the oem torque spec? If you put the crows foot at a right angle you don't need to recalculate.

85 N-m (62.7 lb-ft) per my thread pasted in higher up.

Just finished up the wavetrac install and torqued the driveshaft nut to 63 ft lbs. Does anyone one else feel like thos is really weak for the size of that nut?

Here is the BMW spec. Go check elsewhere if you think it's wrong.

Driveshaft nut, Spec 26 11 1AZ, 85 N-m, 62.7 lb-ft

FWIW, I've run with this spec for 40,000 miles w/o issue. I took it apart again about 1 month ago and went back with same torque. I reused the nut and put blue loctite on it.
