Which front bumper?
Just looking for some opinions, i'm eventually going to mod my front bumper and there aren't too many options out there for the LCI yet. I'd like something a little bit different andwas considering a 1m style bumper:
but not sure this really works on a non-m, not being as wide does it look a bit squashed? So instead i've done a quick photoshop mock of an e92 LCI with a M6 style bumper and though this might work better? any thoughts or better options? cheers alex |

That is basically breeding 1M bumper and BMW performance bumper (first photo).
Take a phot of 1M bumer and performance bumper and see what goes where. Not difficult to make, but as you will be wasting too bumpers, and that makes it expensive job. I liked it and inquired about it couple of months ago from LTBMW. I was told £700 delivered to UK (exclusing import taxes) and that clearly puts my mind off from it. I have also contacted few companies in UK to see if they can combine 1M and performance bumper, but nobody agreed to do it. It is excellent mod but shame that we do not have a local seller and importing it at that price is out of question (at least for me).

I did a pretty lengthy search too, Russ at Impact bodyshop (brighouse yorkshire) agreed to do it, their bodyshop takes on quite a bit of modification work instead of just the usual repairs. Probably looking at even more than LTBMW though since your labour is on the £ and its not tried & tested as with LTBMW. If you get it done over here & you're willing to take a gamble there is always the option of donating your current bumper and only having to buy the 1m part. |

but saying that...on the flip side its an awesome looking bumper and due to the price not many people would have it..so it would turn heads and win the individual factor in the UK for sure

Last mths car of the month, which as you'd expect Longtran has his magical footprint all over.
For me,it epitomises what modding is all about, performance, suspension and aesthetic mods all beautifully put together. Of course, modding is highly subjective, but this car ticks every box for me. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=720869

I'd be up for a group buy on this, 1M bumper looks spot on.

This is not the best photo but it is good enough to give us some idea.
This is what I wanted on my car but LCI bumper was expensive. So LCI performance bumper + M1 bumper + M6 DRLs. Total cost was around 1000 without paint and fitting so I just gave up on this idea.
